The Therapeutic Process
It is my understanding that the change process or process of healing is commonly not a straight line progression.
As your therapist my role is to be actively involved in your journey, to be alongside you in your experience, supporting and facilitating your explorations, whatever they may be, wherever they may lead us.
The sessions are yours, a space for you to be as you feel you need to be, bringing whatever you feel is most pressing or calling for your attention.
What you choose to bring, will guide the focus of our work together each week.
It’s my intention to create an environment in which you can speak freely about how things are for you, so you feel seen, heard and responded to, with authenticity and consideration.
By working together in this way, at a pace that feels comfortable and appropriate to you, we explore the roots and causes of difficult issues to ultimately move towards a greater clarity in relation to these areas.
We can regularly review our work together to ensure that you feel you are getting what you need and we can meet for as many sessions, or for as long as you wish.
Respecting your autonomy, as a client, is at the heart of my therapy practice, welcoming any feedback you may have during our time together.
Nature does not hurry, yet everything is accomplished
